随着台湾微软宣布将预定于今年10月在台湾推出Bethesda Game Studios历经4年开发，广受全球玩家瞩目的《辐射3（Fallout 3）》Xbox 360与PC两个平台的英文版，台湾微软也特地邀请Bethesda Softworks亚洲首席代表总经理高桥彻（Tetsu Takahashi）特别来台展示游戏第一手游戏内幕画面，并与台湾玩家们分享游戏里鲜为人知的特色。catchplay以及巴哈姆特等台湾媒体都对此进行了报道。
在本作中，承袭之前系列特色，玩家将以浩劫过后的美国DC 华盛顿特区作为游戏舞台，并在这个舞台上尽情移动。虽然据高桥表示，本作游戏舞台只有整个华盛顿特区，玩家在不遇怪的情况下只要15～20分钟就可以 跑完，不过在游戏中，还针对各地区加入许多小地图，例如玩家可以在大楼建筑中进行探索，也使得整个冒险的舞台变得更加广阔，因此玩家不必担心一下子就把整 张地图给逛完而没事干。除此之外，高桥也说明，本作虽然在主线任务部份只要 15～20个小时左右就能跑完，不过如果加上其他支线剧情任务的话，那恐怕玩上上百个小时都还玩不完。像他自己目前这款游戏已经玩了80个小时左右，但其 实主线的部份却连一半都还没有跑完。而且本作中不但有超过50万字的惊人内容，其中还有14000～15000句的语音档（也就是约有14000多的字句 语音发音），内容上可说是非常惊人。
另外高桥也在操作中表示，在本作中有着相当高的自由度，玩家可以选择自己的善恶取向。举例来说，当玩家跟路人交谈的时候，随着玩家的行为选择，路人也会有不同的反应，例如玩家如果一直对路人恶言相向的话，路人甚至还会对玩家进行攻击唷！同时由于本作是个开放式世界， 因此玩家可以自行决定自己想做什么，例如玩家在某个小镇可以分别接到两个任务，一个是要拆掉小镇里的某个核弹，一个却是某富豪委托玩家要玩家引爆核弹好欣 赏这场爆炸；此时玩家可以选择究竟是要作好人去解除炸弹，还是要作坏人去引爆炸弹。而且玩家除了可以随意切换第一人称或第三人称视点之外，透过本作独特的 Vault-Tec辅助瞄准系统，玩家可战斗的时候透过指令自由选择攻击敌人各部位以达到不同的效果，例如攻击敌人腿部可以阻止敌人接近自己，攻击敌人的手则可以解除敌人武装；但随着各部位不同，玩家的命中率也将会有所改变，这点玩家可要注意。
同时高桥也补充，在这次游戏里将跟之前一样会加入辐射污染值的设定，玩家也将一样使用玻璃瓶的瓶盖作为本作的交易货币；另外游戏虽然改成全 3D方式表现，但在整个舞台背景设定上还是延续一、二代风格，而最值得着称的是，这次游戏中NPC角色的AI人工智能比之前上古卷轴4还要变得更加聪 明许多。如同刚刚上面所说的，在这次游戏里NPC角色会依照跟玩家的互动而有不同的动作表现，也让玩家每次游玩都能有不同的全新体验。同时本作虽然没有设 定游戏的血腥程度选择，但随着玩家的行动，自然而然就会有不同的血腥表现，例如玩家可以和平地跟NPC沟通互动，也可以直接拿武器把对方爆头干掉，如何行 动取舍都在玩家一念之间。
而当问到本作官方预定推出的下载更新状况以及是否会中文化时，高桥表示有关下载更新方面目前还在保密中，因此还需要请玩家们期待官方公布。至于在游戏是否中文化部份，台湾微软则是表示由于本作上个月才刚签约授权台湾微软代理贩售，因此将会先发行英文版，至于中文化的部份一来时间来不及，二来官方也会视台湾这边的英文版贩售状况再来考虑决定，因此目前这部份暂时都将不会有任何规划。另外，由于本作是一款单机RPG游戏，因此目前并没有预定要加入多人连线的部份，同时Xbox 360与PC两个平台虽然内容相同，但官方并没有预定针对两者之间加入网路连线互动的要素，同时目前在更新下载部份，台湾方面因为台湾微软的强力争取，所以目前预定只有Xbox 360版才会推出下载更新内容。

Looks like shit. The dialogue is awful. Written by high-school kids at best. It also shows up that the dialogue “choices” are going to be crap or simply lead to the same reply anyway (therefore the player doesn’t even *have* a real choice and is just watching a slideshow/movie play out while clicking).
The game will be a stinker.

The game appears to have dialog choices but they dont look interesting choices. It seems either you are a total ass, on the fence, or nice. This will determine who will attack you. But what do you expect? The scope of this game is already fucking huge. Todd 1 is a faggot.

Webb, you do realise I can say the same thing 200 different ways. 200 endings doesnt mean shit about the quality/quantity of the player choice within the game.

Its so clear that they “ruin” franchises when there last game sold great, was loved by fans and critics and still has half decent sales. People who dont like this game (mostly some just dont like it for legit reasons) are fans of the old fallout games and cant seem to stand the switch to 3d (this is just my observation on the matter)
This game looks sweet and im picking it up on release day

Ну не знаю… посмотрел геймплейный ролик с последней Игромании, игра скажем не “фонтан”…(( Мне не понравилась эта система ВАТС (не помню как по анг) и графически игра не блещет, не хватает ей движка unreal 3. Но серию Fallout обажаю, поэтому буду играть обязательно… p.s. первые две части тоже внешне были не очень, когда сел за игру я убедился в обратном, думаю с Fallout 3 будет тоже самое…

yeah.I like Morrowind and traveled init a lot.
a phenomenon in the players around me is: they treat Oblivion as a milestone,a holy kick-ass success and they don so care Morrowind.
seems beautiful 3D eye-candy mad’em happy.
and dese players( i call’em Light-Shadow Con) are(usually) the ones who like Fallout3.
there are many debates in bn13 about the cuming Fallout3.(some subject really suck. )
i must say i dizlike the so-called Fallout3 totally.
there’re some commonsensible-mistakes(eg:the running–fucking-fast-sportmanlike-Ghouls)that disobeying the former Fallout in Fallout3.

Зря они его Fallout3 назвали, не думаю что будет похоже на первые две части, надо было им другое названеи придумать. Вот Fallout tacticks неплохая игрушка не шедевр конечно, но пару раз прошел с удовольствием, и на лавры оригиналов не претендует.

Fallout 2 had gritty, real and humorous dialogue. This dialog seems more never winter nights style. You could be mean, neutral or nice, not expressive. Of course some of it wasn’t great but it had enough to offset that. When you hit an enemy and he says ” damn these intestines for being in the way” or when the scientist isn’t catching on to why you’re asking for reassurance if the room is sound-proofed, I find it funny.

Фирменным цветом Fallout был зелёный, а не синий!
Если посмотреть издалека на окно формирования персонажа, то кажется, что это какая то D&D-Style RPG(Oblivion,M&M), а не апокалиптика!!
